In the not-too-distant future, where time is literally money, and aging stops at 25, the only way to stay alive is to earn, steal, or inherit more time. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. Will Salas lives life a minute at a time, until a windfall of time gives him access to the world of the wealthy. Though too late to help his mother from dying, he teams up with a beautiful young heiress to outrun a police force known as the 'time keepers' and destroy the corrupt system once and for all.
